Description
My client, an instantly recognisable business in North London, is looking to recruit an FP&A Accountant to join their busy team as soon as possible to join them for 1 Year on a Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts including timely ledger posting of month end journals.
- Review and approval of peer journals and reconciliations
- Manage the Fixed Asset Accounting process
- Ensure that all variances are understood and deliver insightful commentary
- Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are completed/reviewed to agreed deadlines with all reconciling and unsubstantiated items investigated and resolved promptly
- Ongoing improvement of month end process efficiency and effectiveness
- Effective incorporation of new business activity into routine Finance process
- Preparation of deliverables for the interim, annual and half year audits
- Provide support to the FP&A team in budget/forecast preparation
- Work closely with transactional teams to deliver endtoend process efficiency and compliance
- Provide support to nonfinancial departmental heads with financial information when required
- Assist with Adhoc reporting requests
