Job Introduction

The Employment Pensions and Immigration Team at DAC Beachcroft LLP is one of the largest national teams in the UK.

The team has a strong and growing reputation in the London market and is recognised as Band/Tier 1 in both the latest Chambers UK Legal 500 rankings.

The Team advises household name employers in both the public and private sectors on human resource issues from day to day matters to strategic management issues both in the UK and cross-border.

The Team handles approximately 1,000 Employment Tribunal claims each year and is the largest user of the EAT.

With such a wide spectrum of work and client opportunities we can offer experience in any aspect of employment law, from investigations to senior executive exits, cross border projects, litigation, data protection, industrial action and everything in between.

Main Responsibilities

Undertake a busy and varied workload of employment matters advising all types
A varied workload of employment matters advising employers in a variety of sectors, including health, tech and financial services.
Progress and manage a wide variety of client matters both contentious and noncontentious, and of varying complexity and scale.
Marketing activities with existing clients and potential clients.
Presenting and assisting in client training and other external seminars.
Maintain and develop technical knowledge.
Enthusiasm for employment law and great people skills
An experienced Associate (ideally 36 PQE)
Solid academic track record
Reasonable level of selfsufficiency, with judgment to seek supervision.
A client focused and commercial perspective rather than an 'academic' approach
Able to learn quickly 'on the job'
Team oriented and collegiate
Willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team.
