Ibk is a community based, not-for-profit social enterprise with over 20 years' experience of providing Direct Payment Support to families, children and adults of all ages with a range of needs. We provide a bespoke matching service, finding the right PA for the right person


This 10 year old and her grandmother are in search of for a patient PA to work with a this young person in S6 area of Sheffield.

The young girl has an autism diagnosis and suspected ADHD, she responds well to a 'firm but fair' approach and needs a PA who can set consistent boundaries to help her manage her behaviour.

The 10 year old loves all kinds of technology like gaming and Minecraft as well as enjoying sensory activities and Lego.


Ideally the PA would be required at the weekend and could offer support to this young person to enable her to go out and do fun activities as well as providing vital respite for her family.

You may also be involved with doing local things such as going to the park or go on day trips to the seaside or Legoland.

You will take a flexible approach to support time, choosing activities based on how the young person is feeling and judging what she can cope with on that day.

You may have interests, hobbies and skills you could share with the young person.

A car driver with access to a vehicle.

Hours: 8 hours per week term time and 5 hours per week non term time. Ideally these will be used on either a Saturday or Sunday

Part-time hours: 5-8 per week


Salary:
£9.50 per hour

  • Weekends only
