The role


As a business they have always prided themselves on a first class levels of service and they need someone with the ability to work closely with both marketing and sales to ensure this is being highlighted.


What will I need to be successful?

Typical duties will include:

Marketing/PR

  • Inhouse publications produce material for inclusion and lead production process.
  • Manage the UK website ensuring it is current and provide data on website activity.
  • Implement company activities with regard to editorial, adverts, websites, social media etc.
  • Monitor trade publications and press cuttings and provide updates to Sales Managers as required.
  • Implement company activities re: advertising. Coordinate the provision of articles, photo's, etc. Maintain log of press cuttings.

Sales:


  • Prepare customer proposals and quotations appropriate to specific customer requirements.
  • Completion of tenders, coordinating input from other departments as required.
  • Operate, update and maintain the CRM System.
  • Assist in the production of New Hire Agreements.
  • Ensure digital contract files are in place for all customers and contain the appropriate documentation.
  • Assist in evaluating the UK rail freight and wider freight logistics markets on a regular basis.
  • Assist with production of monthly sales reports and any other reports
  • Coordinate and attend monthly sales meetings (and any other regular meetings) as required.
