Mechanical Fitter

Location:
East Grinstead, West Sussex

Rate:
£11.33 per hour (PAYE)

£15.00 per hour (Limited Company)

Duration:
Ongoing Contract

Key Skills Required:
Assembly, Mechanical Fitting, Pneumatics, Motors, Bearings, Conveyors, Special Purpose Machinery.

Overview:

Requirements:

Experience with mechanical production build of complex equipment

Experience of working from complex engineering drawings and pneumatic diagrams

A solid background in both mechanical fitting

Ability to read and interpret engineering instructions, drawings and BOM's.

Familiarity of fitting motors, different gears, bearings, copper pipe work, drive shafts

Take pride in producing high quality work. Good attention to detail.

Team player with excellent communication skills including written skills.

Responsibilities:

Fitting/manufacture of mechanical production build of large complex equipment.

Fit and assembly of mechanical components making use of appropriate machinery/hand tools.

Ensure that all H&SE policies and the company ISO guidelines are adhered to during manufacture

Hours:
Standard Mon to Fri 7.45am to 3.45pm

Extra hours available including Saturdays at a flat rate
