A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Voids & Lettings Officer who is seeking a new contract to start in January 2023.

This is a hybrid role working for a leading Housing Association who cover the South East Of England.


As a Voids & Lettings Officer, you will deliver an efficient void management service and a proactive lettings service to potential tenants.

Main Duties

  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that void properties are processed in a timely manner and to expected standards.
  • Carry out pre and post works inspections and remedy any issues.
  • Work with external partners and agencies to ensure that waiting lists and sub regional choice based lettings schemes are managed in line with policies and proceedures.
  • Ensure that all applicants are verified in accordance with theiur housing needs, checking accounts, sourcing references and carrying out credit checks and affordability assessments.
  • Ensure adverts are listed for CBL and property publications.
  • To conduct viewing and sign up appointments flexibly to ensure void turnaround times are minimise
  • To provide advice and assistance to residents and customers in respect of housing options schemes including choice based lettings and referrals to other agencies.


This is a great opportunity for a Voids & Lettings Officer who is seeking a new contract within a leading Housing Association.

You must have previous experience of working in a voids & lettings capacity for a Housing Association and have an awareness ofLandlord and Tenant legislation, relevant to types of tenure.

You will also have previous experience of the processes for the tenanting of void properties with specific reference to choice based lettings, nominations from Local authorities, transfers and mutualexchanges.

This is an essential car user role as you will be required to travel through out your allocated patch.
