We are looking for a friendly, well-organised and adaptable Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our supportive and welcoming team of dedicated military and civilian healthcare professionals and Administrative staff working at Larkhill Garrison in Salisbury.


Job description:


As the Administrative Assistant Receptionist, you will have a major impact in promoting a positive image of the Medical Facility to patients and other users.


Person specification:

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Being the first point of contact with patients and other Medical Treatment Facility
(MTF) users, booking appointments, answering telephones and face to face queries.

  • Supporting GPs/ANP (Advanced Nursing Practitioners) in the process of e referrals, following local protocol.
  • Providing administration support to the clinical staff including the use of Microsoft office, assisting with general typing duties.
  • Dealing with general clerical duties to include photocopying, typing, shredding of paperwork and scanning/ tasking of documents as per local protocols.

Selection process details:
