Corporate Centre
The Corporate Centre Group provides a wide range of corporate services to enable people at HM Treasury and many of the other organisations who form part of the Treasury Group (including the Government Internal Audit Agency, the Debt Management Office and the new National Infrastructure Bank) to operate effectively and efficiently.
The Corporate Centre Group is made up of: Commercial; Correspondence and Information Rights; Finance; Human Resources; Information Workspace Solutions (IWS); the Flexible Safer Working team, the Darlington programme team and Treasury Group Shared Services (based in Norwich)About the team
The Team
Our People and Capability Team, comprising around 40 people, currently delivering a wide-ranging change programme.
We are a diverse team of HR professionals and others with a background in Treasury policy work, which makes for a useful skills mix.
We have a wide range of flexible working arrangements in place.We work closely with senior leaders to make sure that our work genuinely supports and makes valuable contributions to the organisation.
You would be part of a friendly Pay and Reward team headed up by two Range E's.The Pay and Reward team are responsible for both delegated and SCS pay processes and a range of HMT reward policies.
We handle complex casework and contract manage the employee benefits provider.We sit in the Resourcing and Reward Branch and work alongside other HR teams such as Casework & Policy, Talent & Workforce Planning, Learning & Development, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging teams to provide a HR service to the Department.
We have a sister team in Norwich who handle the transactional HR work for the Treasury and our Arms Length Bodies (ALBs)Accountabilities
The key accountabilities for this role are:
- Support business critical pay and reward projects developing and managing project plans.
- Develop policy advice and support on technical casework.
- Build and manage relationships with cross departmental and other government department colleagues to bring in insight and share expertise for pay and reward project implementation.
- Lead on developing and publishing communications for associated resource and reward projects.
- Lead and coordinate branch wide resourcing and reward commissions, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support the delivery of different pieces of work across the branch, including resourcing, early talent and work
