A rare opportunity has arisen for Project Manager to join a global organisation working within the Robotics industry.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of assigned company projects meeting cost, schedule and quality requirements.

Acting as the glue within the project, my client is looking for someone to be very hands on and hold a technical understandingof engineering/manufacturing processes working closely with engineering development teams.

Sophisticated and smart, yet rugged and robust, our robotics work on complex missions in the most hazardous environments on the planet.

Key Responsibilities as a Project Manager:

  • Planning and structuring projects to the appropriate level of detail at work package, activity and task level.
  • Lead and manage the project execution teams
  • Responsible for reporting on project status and escalating issues required to the program manager
  • Tracking project cost and deliverables, updating stakeholders when required and explaining variances to plan and implement countermeasures as required
  • Working with all departments ensuring project resources are identified and assigned, this in line with project timelines. Enabling successful program execution
  • Managing the project risk including risk identification, mitigation and escalation
  • Liaising with customers ensuring they're kept informed and are aware of the project status

Skills/Knowledge Required as a Project Manager:

  • Technical project management experience (Understanding of engineering processes)
  • Manufacturing/engineering Industry experience (Marine is advantageous)
  • Strong communicator internally and externally
