Main Responsibilities

To be responsible for maintaining a high level of wet stock management including ordering, stock rotation, effective stock distribution within all areas of the business and precise stocktakes; essentially oversee the entire journey of the wet stock on site.

Oversee bar function on large live events. Build and maintain a cellar and bar team.

Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained & ensure all equipment that relates to the department is cleaned and kept in good working order.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Be responsible for set up and break down of bars, pre event and on the event evening
  • Manage bar operations on live events with bar managers
  • Assisting training of all those involved in sales and service of beverage products and ensuring all are aware of legislative requirements.
  • Support the operations team in delivering a firstclass bar service to all customers.
  • To assist with paperwork and to be fully conversant with all paperwork involved in running the bars efficiently and to ensure the correct paperwork is completed for due diligence.
  • To supervise bar and cellar team whilst on site.
  • Guarantee availability at peak/busy periods for the business.
  • All tasks to be carried out with Sodexo Health & Safety regulations in mind, always documenting all H&S tasks.
  • That any damage or health and safety issues are reported in a timely manner.
  • That all waste products are disposed of and recorded as per wastage SOP and through our till systems
  • Complete the close down walk round documentation to ensure all areas are left clean and tidy at the end of the shift.
  • To conduct duties in a manner that reflects the business in a positive way.
  • To comply with any other reasonable request made by the management team.
  • Comply with company uniform standards and ensure team members are adhering to the same
