My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join a supportive Engineering Team based in Manchester.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Environmental Management or Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments, drainage strategiesand drainage designs using Microdrainage.

This exciting opportunity will offer the chance to join a supportive team based in Manchester.

You will have the opportunity to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk, hydraulic modelling and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients,Local Authorities and Water Companies.

As a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications for flood zone 1,2 and 3, Flood Estimation using ReFH, Surface Water Management Plans, Hydraulic Modellingusing flood modeller, Drainage Strategy and detailed plot drainage, soakaway and attenuation design using Microdrainage.
