ViiV HR Business Leader**:


Location:
GSK House, London


Minimum 3 days per week on site.
This role supports a number of business-critical areas for ViiV Healthcare across Commercial, Medical and Global Support Functions. The role is also the accountable Talent Lead for ViiV Healthcare and will lead on various initiatives and projects.


Key Responsibilities:


Building Capability & Talent:


Partnering with Senior Leadership Teams to build robust workforce plans to improve quality, breadth, depth and diversity of talent including:

  • Using business insight to diagnose present and future capability gaps, ensuring plans are in place to address these gaps in support of the ViiV Healthcare Strategy and growth ambition
  • Navigation of the internal and external talent resources and benchmarks to ensure robust plans are in place on recruitment and attraction of talent to fill key roles drawing down on external networks and insights where appropriate
  • Ensure succession plans for all key roles reflect global talent targets and diversity aspirations

Leadership Development:

Coach and counsel senior leaders through insight, feedback and challenge, to enable them to be their most effective in driving business performance and organisational alignment, including:

  • Coaching leaders to motivate, focus, care and develop their teams
  • Use business partnerships and insight to diagnose business issues and generate solutions
  • Coaching and developing senior leaders to make tough calls
  • Provide constructive feedback to develop leaders coaching capability of their teams

Culture & Engagement:

Understands the business agenda and translate this into the desired culture in an engaging and inclusive way including:

  • Use insights to work with senior leaders to develop appropriate engagement strategies
  • Embed workforce initiatives which support the desired culture
  • Develops leader's capability to understand their role in driving/shifting the culture and engagement across ViiV Healthcare

Inclusion & Diversity:

Lead the implementation of ViiV Healthcare Inclusion and Diversity strategy and plan including:

  • Develop leader's capability to attract, recruit, manage and develop diverse talent and to recognise the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to the organisation and team
  • Coach leaders on how to create an inclusive high performing team environment where people feel comfortable to contribute fully
  • Embed fair and equitable practices relating to business activities, and specifically for HR in recruitment, development, pay, reward and promotion

Change Management/Org Design:

Lead and drive the efficient delivery of diverse change projects to ensure optimal structures, jobs, work processes and capabilities are in place to enables our strategy including:

  • Deploying systematic thinking to proactively diagnose key areas for change across international and functional boundaries
  • Partnering with senior leaders to develop a range of options on structure to deliver improved business performance
  • Ability to mobilise and align key leaders around change
  • Actively leads the employee relations implications of change initiatives

  • Ability to connect the dots across multiple initiatives to shape a coherent plan, drive execution, and lead adoption in a variety of countries and teams.
  • Good level of problemsolving in diagnosing situations, asking the right questions and developing solutions that will deliver business results.
  • Sound judgement and high integrity when making decisions at pace.
  • Experience of championing change across international and functional boundaries and of working with senior teams on restructures or other significant organisational change
  • Ability to build leaders capability to lead and sustain change
  • Experience of owning a talent management strategy that is linked to and deliver the business strategy
