Areas of responsibility:


  • Work closely with the Account Managers and GEOD and assisting as required
  • Planning and delivering multiple events at once be the main day to day contact for client/suppliers
  • Assist in the management and delivery of clients virtual and hybrid events in addition to physical events
  • Autonomous management and oversight of events, including problemsolving, welcoming guests, directing event setup, communicating with staff and organising vendors
  • General administration duties including production of enquiries, proposals and invoicing to deadlines
  • Provide a highquality administrative support service as required
  • Assist with identifying areas for improvement by continuous monitoring & evaluation of processes and procedures
  • Be able to identify and follow up on opportunities/upsell extra services with management support
  • Liaise with hotels and suppliers
  • Updating systems with new venues, suppliers and clients
  • Website, Social media and marketing upkeep
  • Being compliant at all times with relevant legislation such as 'GDPR'

Objectives:


  • To manage operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
  • To take the lead on a number of projects simultaneously
  • To provide efficient administrative support for the events run by Parallel Blue, along with delivering exemplary customer service to all enquiries, clients and partners we work with
  • To ensure efficient implementation and management of company procedures and processes ensuring all administrative systems are kept up to date

  • Working beyond contracted hours to complete the delivery of events when occasionally required

Requirements:


  • At least 3 years' experience in a corporate events environment performing a similar role
  • An understating of virtual events, virtual platforms and live streaming
  • Degree in Event Management preferred or similar vocation
  • Expert interpersonal skills
  • Sound knowledge of the Corporate Events Industry
  • Be able to travel across the UK, Europe and globally as required to deliver events

Salary:
£25,000.00 per year
