At Gregory Distribution Ltd, we have a vacancy for a

Transport Planner based at our

Avonouth
***Depot.

The position will involve:

The daily route planning of circa 20 routes/vehicles to provide the most costeffective solution, whilst maintaining the customers agreed time windows.
Completing driver debriefs, updating the relevant warehouse systems and reporting the information to the customer.
Liaising and organising work with subcontractors as required.
Production of workflows through the WMS for night shift activities.
Time management to ensure route plans produced within agreed timescales to support regional and network operations.
To liaise with other members of the team to ensure a smooth operation between the transport and warehouse departments.
Excellent communications skills required to liaise with customers and Gregory management to provide relevant and accurate information.
Identifying, leading and driving through continuous improvement.
Ensure that the vehicle fleet is maintained to a high standard and that all damages, incidents and near misses are reported and investigated in line with company procedures.
