About The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Assistant/ Bookings Assistant at our PET-CT unit in Newcastle.

The successful role holder will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks including meeting and greeting patients.

The role also involves interviewing and booking patients by phone. We seek a self-motivated individual who can quickly grasp the general duties in this busy department.


Required Skills and Experience:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including by phone) together with a good standard of IT literacy.
  • Clinical skills are not essential although previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills are essential in order to prioritise your workload to ensure a high standard of patient care at all times.
