£27,000-£31,000 according to experience

Sandbach. Office based. Permanent. Daytime. Mon-Fri. Early finish Fridays.

HR Officer job opportunity for a Human Resources Adviser or HR Officer to support the Human Resources Manager.

HR Officer role supports the Human Resources Manager:

  • Facilitate and support the Human Resources Manager on a HR project for the implementation of a new HR/T&A System: time and attendance, absence management, employee benefits, holiday management, personnel files and confidential records. This part of the HR Officer role requires day to day experience of HR support and the HR administration.
  • Provide an efficient administrative support to the Human Resources Manager.
  • Provide appropriate information and general support in all areas of HR (inc. effective recruitment administration, new staff onboarding administration, etc).
  • Provide accurate and current Human Resources data weekly/monthly to facilitate key HR decisionmaking.
  • Escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Help to research, assess and select a new Human Resources system; looking at the usability of possible new HR systems, considering the efficiency in terms of data input, creating reports, etc.
This HR Officer role will suit a HR Officer, HR Administrator or similar Human Resources person with:

  • The ability to efficiently and accurately update the HR system regarding time and attendance, staff records, new joiners and changes to staff records.
  • The ability to compare the practical aspects of several possible new HR systems; which new systems meets the needs of the HR Manager best? Which option is easiest to use day to day?
  • This HR Officer job could suit an experience HR Officer or HR Administrator, likewise a recent Human Resources graduate with some workplace experience in HR.
  • It is essential to have the ability to maintain confidentiality, including disciplinary, grievance or welfare issues.
  • Depending on experience this role will be mainly at the workplace, but with some potential for flexible working.
Salary guideline £27-31,000. Office based hours of work Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1pm, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
