The Role:


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Promptly deal with all accounts enquiries as and when required, ensuring accurate and professional responses.
  • Processing purchase orders and supplier invoices accurately.
  • Raising invoices and credit notes accurately and sending these to clients in a timely manner.
  • Providing administrative support with daytoday book keeping and any associated queries that arise.
  • Daily bank statement reconciliation with accounts receivable ledger.
  • Providing administrative support to the company credit control process, including sending statements of account and copy invoices, as well as making initial enquiries with regards to payment, all with the aim of maintaining the lowest level of outstanding debtors possible.
  • Distributing our professional reports to clients when complete.
  • Entering precise information into the Company Database and keeping all information up to date.
  • Support other office administrators as and when required and ensure full awareness of all administration tasks and responsibilities at all times so that effective cover can be maintained.
  • Provide a high level of customer care and support that promotes and reflects the image of the business.
  • Meet and exceed any targets/deadlines that may be set by your line manager.
  • Undertake any other duties within your capability as directed by your line manager.

Key Skills required for this role:

  • Must have relevant experience of a similar accounts administration role, ideally with experience in the following key areas: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and Book Keeping.
  • Strong skills in Maths and English are essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work proactively as part of a team as well as being able to work on own initiative.
  • Be motivated and enthusiastic at all times.
  • Display high standards of service and presentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients from all different backgrounds across numerous sectors.
  • A sensitive and pragmatic approach to Credit Control, balancing client relationships and the need to maintain sustainable debt levels.
  • Honesty, integrity, and respect for confidentiality.
  • A willingness to learn and be open to new ideas.
  • Good computer skills including experience of working with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
