Role:
HLTA in Manchester


Contract:
Permanent with a 16 week probationary period through our agency

Full Time: 5 days


Salary:
£25,000 to £28,000


Essential Criteria:
Own transport and HLTA experience


Simply Education is working with a PRU in Manchester that is currently seeking a HLTA to work across 2 centres.


The School:


The School caters for young people aged 11-16 who have been permanently excluded or are unable to attend Mainstream Schools.

The students in this provision may be disengaged with their learning and display challenging behaviour.


The role:
The School are looking for a SEND HLTA with experience of working in a SEN or SEMH setting. It would be advantageous to have experience working in a PRU with de-escalation training.

The role would entail working across 2 of the School centres delivering targeted SEND learning interventions so a full, clean driving license with own transport is essential.


Responsibilities:

Building rapport with young people, other support staff and parents

Using computer software; must have strong ICT skills

Promoting equal opportunities and ensuring the safety of all students

Attending regular CPD sessions

Managing challenging behaviour

Delivering targeted SEND learning interventions
