About the Role

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Receiving goods in and sending goods out.
  • Arranging laptops to be sent to new joiners, current employees receiving a new laptop or an employee leaving the business.
  • New Stock Improving the efficiency of the IT service by carrying out regular processes.
  • Booking courier collections.
  • Laptop rebuilds.
  • Arranging laptop repairs.
  • Arranging laptops to be sent for recycling/disposal.
  • Regular stock take and audit of storeroom.
  • Updating internal IT systems including the helpdesk tickets, asset records and documentation.
  • Holiday cover for other members of the team, as required.

About the Team

  • Many of our people are technical experts in their own fields, and this makes supporting those people more difficult than in many other environments. You will need to learn to recognise when to provide assistance and when to escalate problems in the most efficient manner.

The IT team has 4 core teams:

  • Service Management
  • provide 1st line and 2nd line support, device deployment and collection, fulfil all standard service requests for hardware/software.
  • Infrastructure provide 3rd line support and implement core infrastructure and security solutions.

Future Prospects:


Chance to progress in to more technical roles within in the internal IT team or chances across other areas of BJSS.

Training Provided:

As a Business Administration Apprentice with BPP, you will undertake the Business Administrator Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship.

The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures and workplace support.


Duration:

15 months
