Working Hours:06.00am pm, 4 on/4 off shift pattern

Stonegate Farmers are seeking a Hygiene Team Leader to join their Egg Innovation Centre based in Lacock, Wiltshire.

A key distributor for leading premium egg brand Clarence Court, Stonegate Farmers boasts a customer base comprising of major mainstream food retailers, food service outlets and distributors.

The business is looking to continue to build on existing strong retailer relationships, enhance its strong branded reputation with further innovative egg branding, optimise on egg packing performance and extend customer and product development across both it's Shell Egg and Egg Innovation divisions.

Role & Responsibilities:

To assist in the completion of all orders set out on the plan, through the correct set up of all equipment on line, Packing, Machine Operation and basic fault finding that could incur stoppages and hamper the success of the line.
To ensure that food materials despatched are safe, legal and of the quality expected by the business and customer.
Capable of leading a team effectively, by demonstrating the ability to cope well under pressure and with multiple demands. Supervise the day to day running of the team to ensure the KPI's are met at all times.
Attainment to plan; Production Levels & Demands, Quality, Labour Control, Waste Control, Utility Usage, Stock Control and other measurements of efficiency.
Products made must be produced to the agreed quality specification whilst ensuring that all staff are trained to produce quality products within the company's health and safety rules and guidelines.
Ensure you use the correct PPE for the task at all times and the PPE used is in good condition.
You must play your part in the health and safety policy. You must be safety conscious in every task you perform and lookout for the safety of others working around you.
To comply with all hygiene and food safety procedures

Person Specification:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
The ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
Able to resolve routine problems using well defined procedures, identify and respond to trends.
English language skills at a level that enables explanation of written and verbal instructions, procedures and requirements, thorough and accurate completion of documentation and auditable records.
Selfmotivated and a can do attitude is a must
Good attention to detail
