SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a passionate and dedicated teaching assistant to join the SEN team at a primary school in Enfield.

This is an exciting opportunity to work one-to-one with a Year 6 pupil with ASD and ADHD who needs support accessing learning and organizing for learning.

The pupil is working below the level of Y6 curriculum and needs support in early reading, speech, and language needs.


As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to the pupil, helping them to access the curriculum and make progress in their learning.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure that the pupil's individual education plan is met, and they are fully supported in their learning and development.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Providing onetoone support to a Year 6 pupil with ASD and ADHD
  • Supporting the pupil to access the curriculum and make progress in their learning
  • Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the pupil's individual education plan is met
  • Implementing strategies and interventions to support the pupil's needs
  • Supporting early reading and speech and language needs

Essential requirements:


  • Experience working with children with ASD and ADHD
  • Understanding of a range of strategies and interventions to support children with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Passionate about supporting children's learning and development

Desirable requirements:


  • Relevant qualification in special educational needs
  • Experience working in a primary school setting
