Kitchen Assistant - Vida Grange
Vida Grange are looking for friendly and motivated Kitchen Assistants to join their team

We are looking for people who will share Vida's values and commitment to providing the highest quality, compassionate care. Ultimately, we are looking for kind, caring people who are passionate about helping others.

Vida is proud to offer some of the leading rates of pay in the industry, paying our Kitchen Assistants £10.90 per hour.

We offer a range of flexible contracts including both full and part time hours.

There will be requirements for weekend working, as per the published home rota.

Key responsibilities include:

Keeping a key focus in hygiene and health and safety standards at all times.
Assist with clearing dishes quickly and efficiently
Operate the dishwashing equipment plus manual washing of crockery, pots, pans and equipment when required.
Cleaning duties including kitchen floors, worktables and deep cleaning of equipment.
Assist with unloading and storing deliveries and support the chefs with basic food preparation.
Basic understanding of COSHH procedures & food hygiene is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Further training and development will be provided by Vida Healthcare, and you will have ongoing support from our Vida Academy.

Vida Grange is a 124-bed home with 8 houses rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. We are now looking for enthusiastic, motivated, caring and conscientious people to join our team.

Vida Grange is only a few minutes outside Harrogate town centre and enjoys exceptional public transport links by both train and bus, to Leeds and beyond.
