MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

Ensure the presentation of the hotel and staff accommodation is maintained to the highest possible standard. We must be mindful of how we work around our guests and ensure that we cause no inconvenience or disruption to their stay.
Ensure all hotel equipment is in good working order, with any repairs carried out in a timely manner.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the maintenance WhatsApp & tasks list daily, to ensure guest areas and back of house areas are maintained to the required standard and health and safely standards are adhered to.
Ensure both car parks are perfectly presented throughout the year.
The Head of Maintenance will coordinate a schedule throughout the year to ensure both hotels are at the required standard.
Ensure that all storage areas are always organised and secure.
Assisting the Head of Maintenance to perform and record weekly testing of Fire Alarms, Generator, Flood Pumps, etc.
You will be provided with training; however, it will help if you can demonstrate some existing practical skills, and the attention to detail to provide a very high level of finish, these might include.
Painting & Decorating
Working with power tools
Working at height
Minor plumbing
Minor electrical
Basic Carpentry
