Description

Purpose of the Role:

To be servicing a large book of Financial Institutions Package, Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers Liability, Charity Trustees Liability, Pensions Trustees Liability, and Medical Malpractice, Corporate, SME, Large Commercial and Institutional clients.

Key Role Accountabilities:

Development and maintenance of a portfolio, and development of new business
Market facing broking including liaising with underwriters in the Lloyd's and London market
Provide appropriate cover, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients' needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients
Ensuring all relevant information is gathered in the preparation of annual renewals and endorsements on accounts
Creation of presentations for both new and existing clients
Understanding a clients' business and risk management needs
Working closely and maintain relationships with key market and client contacts
Management of workload to ensure compliant placement of cover and processing of contracts as per FCA and contract certainty requirements
Checking policies, market presentations and client documentation, updating policies with MTAs
Debiting of premiums
Creation of MRC documents, and submissions to PLL and XIS
Maintaining accurate and concise placing files, using corporate document management system

Qualifications & Experience:

Medical Malpractice experience would be an ideal though no essential part
