**CUSTOMER DATA SCIENTIST
UP TO £70,000
LONDON (HYBRID)**
Overview
Harnham is working with a global retailer on a Customer Data Scientist role.

You will be the first Data Scientist hire in the UK and will be supporting the marketing function with the creation of predictive models that will help optimize spending and boostsales.


The role

You will:

  • Develop indepth domain knowledge of the data by querying it
  • Build and deploy machine learning models that have a strong commercial and customer impact
  • Share knowledge and expertise with junior team members to upskill
  • Be able to simplify complex algorithms into businessfriendly detail

The experience
You don't have to tick all the boxes but if you have some of the following experience then we'd love to hear from you:

  • Be able to differentiate between writing development code and production code used in deployment
  • You have a deep understanding and curiosity of applied mathematics and statistics within machine learning
  • You are completely comfortable using SQL to work with large structure/unstructured datasets. i.e Must be comfortable writing DDL statements, using window functions, CTEs etc. We use Snowflake as our data warehouse.

The benefits
You will receive up to £70,000 per annum and other benefits including a bonus and strong pension.
