Working as part of a small team in a North Ayrshire based engineering and fabrication company.

The job role would suit a school leaver or someone early in their career looking to get into the construction industry.


What the role includes:

  • You will learn how to proficiently use and create building models by using 2D, 3D modelling software CAD and Solidworks.
  • You will learn to liaise with main contractors, structural engineers and architects to produce a fully complete 3D building for production.
  • You will learn how to read and analyse structural engineers drawings and connection details.
  • You will learn how to create and edit fabrication drawings ready for the workshop.
  • Longer term you will be running your own projects and will be responsible for working to programme dates and liaising with the design team.

Requirements:


  • You will be a confident communicator and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Aptitude to read technical drawings
  • Good computer skills
  • In time, you must be good at working to deadlines and under your own initiative.
  • Must be able to work well within a team.
  • You must be organised and methodical in your approach to work.

Salary is dependent on age and experience.


Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£10,000.00-£15,000.00 per year
