Working as part of a small team in a North Ayrshire based engineering and fabrication company.

The job role would suit a school leaver or someone early in their career looking to get into the construction industry.

What the role includes:

You will learn how to proficiently use and create building models by using 2D, 3D modelling software CAD and Solidworks.
You will learn to liaise with main contractors, structural engineers and architects to produce a fully complete 3D building for production.
You will learn how to read and analyse structural engineers drawings and connection details.
You will learn how to create and edit fabrication drawings ready for the workshop.
Longer term you will be running your own projects and will be responsible for working to programme dates and liaising with the design team.

Requirements:

You will be a confident communicator and have a strong attention to detail.
Aptitude to read technical drawings
Good computer skills
In time, you must be good at working to deadlines and under your own initiative.
Must be able to work well within a team.
You must be organised and methodical in your approach to work.

Salary is dependent on age and experience.

£10,000.00-£15,000.00 per year
