Description
Shhh, libraries are supposed to be quiet but NO, shout out about this fantastic apprenticeship in Library, Information & Archive Services working in Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust LIBRARY

We are looking for someone to join our team who is passionate about developing a career in libraries, you need to be highly motivated, keen to learn and eager to contribute to the development of our service.

What does a hospital need a library for? Good question - healthcare staff need to have the best and most up to date information to provide excellent patient care and develop services; healthcare students attend placement in the hospital and need help to enable their learning - it is interesting and varied work that makes a real difference.

Libraries are traditionally thought of as quiet places; however our service is not for the shy and retiring.

You will be working with staff from across our Trust including consultants, students, managers and nurses, answering their queries and ensuring they get the information they need.

No two days are the same, therefore we are looking for someone who likes variety, has excellent communication skills and is adaptable.
