Description

A rare opportunity has arisen within a well established engineering company based in Medway Towns for a
Fabricator/Assembler to join a friendly team on a permanent basis.

You will responsible for the fabrication and assembly of various air handling units.

Main duties will include:

Following/reading drawings to correctly assemble components using hand tools and abrasive wheels
To supply high quality finished works to a high standard
To work to specific time constraints
To work collaboratively with other Factory employees
To follow and adhere to health and safety standards
Willingness to complete overtime on occasion

Experience/Qualifications

Previous assembly experience within a busy factory
Flexible working approach
Hands on sheet metal engineering experience
Good communication skills able to liaise with the Drawing Office, R&D and factory.
Knowledge of safety standards

Hours of work are 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday with overtime paid at an enhanced rate.
