Main Responsibilities
While working to Look North across a range of duties, we are specifically looking for someone with experience in programme timing.
You'll be able to use your skills to assist the director in keeping interviews to time and ultimately the program within its allowed duration.
You'll also be responsible for logging music output and trails, operating autocue, making line bookings, co-ordinating production facilities, contribute innovative programme ideas and research guests and topics.
You'll need an ability to meet deadlines, prioritise a busy workload, operate under pressure and work effectively as part of a team.
Training will be available so don't worry if you don't meet all the above requirements.You will have an interest in current affairs and a knowledge of television production techniques. You need to be flexible in your approach to work and good at multi-tasking.
