Labour Support - Mitie c/o Eaton Aerospace, Titchfield

Job purpose
Labour Support position is responsible for delivering a high quality, proactive service at Eaton Titchfield.

The role will take responsibility for all aspects of site support to improve the internal and external appearances of site.

Role will interface with the Mitie Facilities Management Team, based on site.


Responsibilities

  • Supporting site with general labouring duties
  • Providing Mitie Tech Services with manual handling support
  • External red tag waste area clearances
  • Sweeping of leaves around buildings and walkways
  • Landscape maintenance including weeding and litter picking
  • Replacing dust mats across site on a fortnightly basis
  • Responsible for painting / glossing
  • Banksman support for engineers when working at height
  • Carrying out reactive requests as required
  • Daily post distribution
  • Daily laundered hand towel replacements
  • To provide holiday cover for site Waste Coordinator
  • Proactively reporting jobs and supporting with the closure of site improvement actions

Knowledge skills & experience

  • Good communication and excellent customer service
  • Understanding of working safely within Health & Safety regulations
  • Ability to use initiative, judgement and make decisions

Additional Information

  • Permanent contract
  • Full time
  • 38 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends or bank holidays
