We are looking for a health care assistant with suitable theatre experience to work in our busy operating theatre department.

The James Cook University Hospital has 19 theatres in the main operating department, with a 10 bed recovery suite. Within the theatre suite there are 2 emergency theatres and a dedicated paediatric theatre.


In addition to Main Theatres there is a Surgical Day Unit which has a 23 hour male and female ward and 3 day surgery operating theatres.

We also have a paediatric day unit where children are admitted and discharged on day of surgery.

This vacancy is working within General & Obstetrics theatre.

I would like to hear from an enthusiastic person to work in theatre & have an interest in working in this dynamic setting.

Leadership and Improvement Training

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers Novice leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust.
