Our Highways and Infrastructure group are growing and we are currently seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join us in the following locations:

  • Ashford; London; Reading; Oxford; Birmingham; Bristol; Manchester; Edinburgh; Glasgow;

This is an opportunity to join a reputable team that have been delivering infrastructure projects for our clients across the UK.Our projects are varied and frequently require collaboration with multiple discipline experts across the business.

This role offers you the opportunity to lead a high caliber team of Engineers and work with senior levels of management to drive our Roads business forward.

You will take responsibility for the management of the design process on a range of major infrastructure schemes for public and private sector clients.

You will have the opportunity to play a key role in the success of our team, working on major a variety of major infrastructure projects across the UK.


You will take the lead on multi-disciplinary bids and be responsible for mentoring, training and performance management of the team.

You will also be drawing upon the capability and networks of the wider transport group and other disciplines across the UK to deliver projects and create opportunities for the group, aiding our growth agenda in the process.


About You
You'll be a BSc/BEng/MEng qualified and ideally Chartered.

You will have expertise in roads, highway and civil infrastructure design to deliver multi-disciplinary projects for the entire lifecycle - from concept, feasibility and planning through to detailed design and delivery.

Skills with microdrainage and Civils 3D are advantageous.


Ideally you will have experience of leading and mentoring a team, a good client facing ethos, strong commercial acumen, and great communications skills at all levels.

Your passion and experience of delivering quality infrastructure design solutions is most crucial to your success in this role. You will be ambitious, forward thinking and have a desire to better your career.
