Student Support Assistant

Bedford

Temporary (term time only)

Monday - Friday 09:00- 16:30

Salary - £12.00 per hour

30 hours per week - term time only

Responsibilities:

To be responsible for providing support to learners with the learning difficulties and/or disabilities in the classroom.

Main Duties:

To provide learner support to a group of learners or on a one to one basis in line with strategies identified on a student/s Individual Support Plan (ISP).
To provide information for review and evaluation purposes as required and in a timely manner.
To maintain appropriate records as required by the organisation e.g. registers, progress reports.
To assist tutors with administrative duties related to the additional support of the learner.
To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons
