Modality LLP is a large-scale provider of Specialist NHS Services, renowned for its innovative approach to delivering efficient pathways for patients requiring specialist care, leading to high quality patient outcomes.
We work in partnership with a number of hospitals across the country to collaboratively redesign outpatient services with more care being delivered in community settings.
We are looking to expand our Imaging Services by recruiting a Clinical Service Lead- Radiology.

Main duties of the job
The Clinical Service Lead will provide clinical leadership to Modalitys radiology services including plain film x-ray, MRI and ultrasound and lead the development of additional radiology services including CT and teleradiology.
The postholder will work in partnership with the service leads for MRI, ultrasound and x-ray and the radiology service manager to oversee the operational management of radiology services on a day-to-day basis by line managing clinical staff and planning effective service delivery.

- Over 15 years of experience of delivering community outpatient services
- Contracts with ICBs and hospital providers
- A diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses and allied health professionals
- Delivery of over 120,000 patient consultations per year
- Delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential
- Consultant Radiologist on GMC Specialist Register.
- Evidence of continuing professional development and proficiency in accordance with GMC guidelines
- Strong experience of managing a diverse range of clinical staff groups
- Experience of measuring and evaluating outcomes in order to drive improvement.
- A proven track record of delivering results/impact in a senior management role
- In depth knowledge of radiology services
- Health services and the delivery of health care
- Knowledge of governance requirements across the radiology functions
- Good understanding of the legislation relating to Radiation Protection and Health and Safety
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in radiography equipment and techniques
- Ability to shape and implement a vision and strategy for a high performing department
- Strong relationship building with both internal and external stakeholders, up to and including at a senior level
- Ability to assess and review services to ensure adherence to external standards such as CQC
- Ability to critically analyse complex information and evaluate a range of options to identify service improvements
- Excellent communication; verbal and written
- Able to demonstrate a professional approach at all times whilst under pressure
