Short Description:
Marleon are recruiting for an organised and dynamic thinker that is excited at the prospect of working within a small yet growing organisation.
As a Sentinel Coordinator you will be responsible for much of the company's administration and compliance for our Railway Safety Training division.
We are wanting an individual that will grow and learn with the business as we implement our Business Plan.Full Description:
As a Sentinel Coordinator, you shall be responsible for managing and assisting with a range of duties.
These will include but not be limited to the following:
- Booking rail training courses for clients
- Scheduling Training courses
- Relaying joining instructions to clients
- Updating Skills Backbone calendar
- Administration checklists
- Training pack creation
- General sales and administration
You will be supported by a welcoming team of staff and shall report directly to our Training Manager - who you will work closely with.
You will be given opportunities to develop your skills and implement your own ideas and practices without KPIs or pressure - however, as a small business, we do demand a strong work ethic and positive attitude for you to succeed at Marleon.
Employer Description:
Marleon operate within the rail sector where we offer a variety of occupational health services and face-to-face training on a national basis.
We are the second largest provider by volume for medicals and drug and alcohol screenings in the sector (April March 2023).
Marleon's training division consists of three industry accredited trainers that are able to deliver a wide array of courses that cover rail, first aid and health and safety.
We foresee growth in both sectors of our business, however, your role shall be exclusively based within our commercial, training division.
Training Provided:
As part of your probationary period, you will be given a full induction schedule that will involve a training plan to help you learn about the railway and our regulatory processes.
It will involve:
- Marleon's processes
- NSAR the railway training industry's governing body for quality and compliance.
Working Hours:
Full Time - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Salary
£24,000 starting salary - rising to £25,000 upon completion of 12 month probationary period
Skills Required:
- Good IT Skills (Microsoft Office is essential)
- English speaking and writing
- Organisation skills are essential
- Good communication with customers

- Patience and calm demeanour
- Adaptability as the role shall evolve with employees capabilities
Qualifications Required:
None - this appointment will be made on merit.
Experience Required:
Minimum of 3 years experience of working in an office or administrative work.
Salary:
£24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
