Construction Trade Solutions is looking for a hardworking, motivated Joiner to do some first and second fix on a new build housing site in Thirsk.

Location:
Thirsk

Length of contract: 3-4 weeks


Start Date:

ASAP

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 7:30- 4:30


Pay rate:
£23 per hour


Duties and responsibilities of the role


We are looking for someone to provide a competent and comprehensive carpentry or joinery service to a new build housing site.

This will be doing first and second fix on new build houses.


Skills and attributes (desirable)


We are looking for to complete first and second fits, someone who has knowledge of building and construction, have patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

Someone who at great attention to detail, have the ability to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device, work independently or as part of a team and the ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools.


About you


You must have a valid CSCS card, and have an asbestos awareness certificate if you do not have one of these - we can help you get it.


Additional tickets/qualifications that would be beneficial include; Level 2 and/or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery, IPAF, MEWP, PASMA, First Aid, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels or any other industry related courses.
