We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and compassionate individual to lead the South Crisis Team.

Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise and network with partners within the locality as well as externally will be essential.

Crisis Services assess and care for people at a critical point in time, a reputation for high standards of patient care, understanding of patient experience and risk management will be invaluable.

The post holder will be responsible for the ongoing delivery and development of Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment Service.

The post holder will provide line management to all members of the multidisciplinary / multi agency team and will be responsible for leading further development of clinical services.

To develop an agreed Operational Policy to deliver the UHB's clinical and strategic aims. To be responsible for all aspects of the establishment and management of the team.

Overall responsibility for the co-ordination of the CRHTT. To ensure good working partnership working with other health and social work teams in the delivery of Crisis services. Budget holder for the Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment Service.

Responsibility for the maintenance of health and safety standards both within the CRHTT base and in the community, as well as to maintain Clinical Governance Standards.

Develop and implement action plans for improvements in service delivery.

Undertake investigations and make recommendations on behalf of the mental health service group, including complaints, critical incidents and sentinel events.
