Cyber Security Engineer | Up to £60,000 + Benefits | Remote (Occasional travel to Newport) |
Yolk Recruitment are supporting a client in their search for a talented Cyber Security Engineer to join their team.

This is a highly technical role that requires a deep knowledge and understanding of attack and exploitation techniques, as well as adversarialtactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

The role can be fully remote with occasional travel onsite to Newport required.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead incident response teams and third parties to ensure effective detection, identification, and remediation of security incidents
Set up, monitor, and track remediation of identified vulnerabilities
Consult on and input into the development and testing of the organization's Security Incident Response Plan
Monitor the risk to the organization's assets and ensure compliance monitoring is in place and maintained to a high standard
Develop policies, processes, and procedure documents for the Security Operations Team
Act as a mentor to less experienced team members
Provide security consultancy to other projects and programs of work on a planned and adhoc basis
Implement User Behavioural Analysis and social engineering tooling

Essential Criteria:

Strong knowledge of SIEM and SOC processes and procedures
Handson experience using cyber attack modeling techniques
Experience with M365 security stack, including Azure, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Cloud
