1)
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB


To support the Group IT Director and wider IT team by providing administrative and project support, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the IT Department.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reporting to the Group IT Director.

3)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide general administrative support to the Group IT Director and wider team, assisting with managing schedules.
  • Liaise with comms providers for the business entities in the Group.
  • Support with developing new IT policies and keeping existing ones up to date.
  • Support the IT team to schedule and coordinate IT projects.
  • Keep asset register up to date and liaise with business entities within the Group to ensure the list is comprehensive.
  • Support with Health & Safety requirements for the team including development of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
  • Any other duties as instructed by the Group IT Director.

JOB DIMENSIONS / SCOPE
Group support role for IT department.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Strong general administration skills.
  • IT literate with experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and have the ability to learn new systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Highly organised and able to multitask.
  • Flexible team player.

RELATING TO PEOPLE INTERNALLY


This role will be focussed around supporting the IT department, however there will be some interaction with staff from the business entities within the Group, and this could be at any level.

RELATING TO PEOPLE EXTERNALLY


The IT Administrator will interact with comms providers for the Group, and may at times be required to liaise with other providers or agencies.
