Description

Grassroots Recycling (one of the UK's largest agricultural plastics recyclers) is hiring a new position to take the lead in customer service, sales and marketing to grow and retain its retail customer base and agent network.

The role will be responsible for working with the customer services administrator to ensure consistent client satisfaction throughout each interaction with Grassroots and subsidiary company Farm XS along with other brands that may be acquired over time.


The new role will be responsible for executing marketing and sales strategies to grow the customer base and agent network.

The job is to deliver new customers, service and retain existing customers and build-out the group's agent network.

In this position, you will be involved in developing marketing strategies, implementing marketing and sales strategies and maintaining customer and agent relations.


To ensure success, you should have strong knowledge of modern marketing and social media techniques, a passion for sales, and excellent communication skills.

You will have a deep knowledge of agriculture to enable you to develop sales relationships with Farmers associations, buying groups, land agents, agronomists, contractors, retailers, industry associations and individual customers.

You should be willing to travel within UK from time to time to meet with prospective clients and agents


Using modern marketing techniques the role is responsible for building the public profile of the Companies, develop marketing materials and overall grow the retail customer base.


Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the customer services team to ensure a quality service is delivered to customers, including:_
  • Answering client queries about company services.
  • Maintaining client relations.
  • Scheduling customer collections and deliveries
  • Work handinhand with site operations
  • Dealing with queries, complaints etc
  • Manage the customer service administrators to ensuring system data fidelity
  • Increasing the customer base and agent network, including:_
  • Contributing to the development of and implement sales and marketing plans.
  • Conducting market research.
  • Tracking sales data to ensure the company meets customer acquisition targets.
  • Along with operations, manage and grow the agent network.
  • Increase the profile of the business in the industry, including:_
  • Setup and maintain profiles on social media.
  • Setup and manage targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with media representatives and sponsors.
  • Attendance at relevant events.
  • Build company relationships within the market.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in sales and marketing roles
  • Experience in Agriculture
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively with excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite

Job Types:

From £30,000.00 per year
