Description

Yorkshire Lifting Tackle Ltd is a Leeds based lifting company and due to continued growth are currently seeking a workshop Fitter to join our team to service, maintain, repair and install all types of manual & powered lifting equipment.


Role

  • To deliver a professional and efficient service in relation to the testing, repair, inspection and maintenance of lifting equipment and accessories primarily in house and occasionally on site.
  • Test, repair, inspection and maintenance of a wide range of lifting equipment and accessories in accordance with in the LOLER regulations, company procedures and manufacturers guidelines.
  • Ensure that all work completed is and recorded using correct procedures.
  • Ensuring safe systems of work are established and followed for all tasks and to ensure that high standards of Health and Safety in the workplace are maintained.
  • Willing to undertake development training as and when required.

Ideal Applicant

  • Strong aptitude for mechanical & electrical and a willingness to learn
  • Good fault finding skills
  • Experience in the industry preferred
  • Valid clean driving license
  • Selfmotivated and good time keeping
  • Professional appearance
  • High standards, taking pride in work carried out.

Hours
07:30am to 17.00 Monday to Thursday

07:30am to 16:30 Friday
