Hiring a
Trainee Digital Print Operator to work in
Hertford

Trainee Digital Print Operator Salary:


  • Up to £25,000 per annum DOE
  • Permanent role

Trainee Digital Print Operator Details:


  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am 5:00pm
  • Following and scheduling work as a Trainee Digital Print Operator
  • Progressing jobs using specific print based software to digital printers
  • Preparing and plan artwork files for print
  • Preparing the relevant media for the correct press
  • Developing technical knowledge of print industry
  • Quality checking all work, ensuring it is output to the highest standard
  • Routine maintenance of print machinery
  • Logging engineer service call outs when required
  • Operating finishing machines including guillotines, book binders, laminators
  • Demonstrating an awareness for customer requirements and SLAs, ensuring that production deadlines are met
  • Implementing best practice methods to prevent / minimise spoilage
  • Ensuring the line manager is notified if the stock of consumable supplies are running low
  • Keeping print room/work area organised
  • Achieve and exceed business targets, expressed in terms of your personal objectives

Trainee Digital Print Operator Requirements:


  • Delivery of required product on time
  • Produce a quality product to meet or exceed customer expectations from print and finishing operations
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage
