Lead Engineer - Product Environmental Sustainability


Atlas Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Lead Engineer - Product Environmental Sustainability on behalf of our prestigious defence client.


This role is within my clients Airworthiness and Product Integrity Centre of Expertise within the Air sector of the business.

The team operates across all Air products providing product safety, product environmental sustainability and product security engineeringcapability to all programmes across the business.


What you'll be doing as a Lead Engineer - Product Environmental Sustainability:

  • Performing the leadership role on capability, leading a diverse team covering the specialism of Product Environmental Sustainability
  • Defining and Implementing Product Environmental & Sustainability strategy to meet Customer and Corporate Environmental aims and targets.
  • Operating panfunctionally, across the numerous platforms
  • This role integrates all aspects of Product Sustainability ranging from strategy and policy deployment, taking in panfunctional throughlife aspects, across multiprogrammes

Your skills and experiences Lead Engineer - Product Environmental Sustainability:

  • Experience in leading environmental and sustainability in complex organisations or products
  • Experience from multiple programmes,
  • Ability to communicate effectively and with passion across all areas of the business from top leadership, technical experts, engineers and nonengineers
  • Demonstrated ability to create effective networks internal and external to the Air Business Unit
