Presales Consultant

My client is an IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) with over 20 years' experience in public & private cloud, data protection and enabling mobile workforces.

They are proud to partner with some of the world's most well-known IT software & hardware companiesto deliver tailored solutions for their customers.

Due to continued growth the business is looking to hire a Presales Consultant on a permanent basis. This role will be based in the North West and will report to their central Manchester office (flexible workingavailable)

This role will be responsible for positioning the businesses infrastructure and operations managed services which are based on Private, public and multi cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities will include:

Supporting the sales process from 1st call demo closure.
Provide the client and the sales team with a technical understanding of private, public and multi cloud infrastructure, backup, DR, cyber recovery, desktop as a service, SD-WAN and connectivity services.
Produce customer bill of materials for hardware, software and professional services.
Develop strong working relationships with customers, sales teams & technical teams

Desirable experience:

Previous experience in a presales role in the managed services / technology industry
Understanding of private, public and multi cloud based infrastructure.
Commercial mindset and understanding of the sales process
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
