Your role in the team


As a Senior Marketing & Communications Consultant you will lead and support the corporate communications of Allstate in Northern Ireland by developing communication plans, producing a range of digital and print materials, and coordinating advertising and social media in support of internal communications, recruitment marketing and employee events.


You'll be closely working with the Marketing and Design teams in Corporate Communications area and all areas of the business.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

The individual will have the opportunity to help build, shape and execute the marketing and communications strategy including branding, PR, content creation & distribution, social media and other digital marketing activities.


  • Developing and delivering effective multichannel marketing and communications strategies to engage potential recruits via digital campaigns
  • Manage digital paid advertising to increase company and brand awareness and monitor engagement
  • Take a leading role in strategic company projects spanning target audience and employee campaigns, video and written content production, webinars, community events, internal communications, and recruitment marketing
  • Organising content for multiple social media channels and analysing metrics
  • Coordination/creation of marketing materials with the design team
  • PR management and event organisation
  • Coordination/support with the operations team on specific reporting, analysis and presentations
  • Develop longrange, integrated communication plans that increase awareness and understanding of Allstate and will drive engagement to potential employees
  • Uses data to manage the governance and production of dashboards, which includes metrics that provide transparency into the effectiveness of campaigns and strategic messaging aligned with targeted outcomes
  • Great analytical skills and experience in interpreting data and trends to help drive marketing decisions

So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Communication, Marketing or related discipline
  • At minimum 4 years of marketing and communications experience
  • At minimum 3 years' experience developing compelling content and leveraging multiple channels for creative storytelling
  • At minimum 3 years' digital advertising experience in paid search and Google ads

We also have some desirable criteria

  • Have planned and delivered a marketing strategy including identifying key audiences, defining messaging, building campaigns and supporting the production of content including PR, blogs, news, partnership content, employee stories, videos, webinars and podcasts etc.
  • A passion for all things digital, to test new tactics, and keep up to date with marketing trends
  • A team player with a proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues, crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong demonstrable experience of executing digital marketing campaigns, including the use of digital content, SEO, social media, paid ads and retargeting tactics
  • A strong desire to explore new and creative marketing tactics that deliver results
  • Proven organisational and project management skills and experience in managing a variety of projects and internal/external stakeholders to tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a real passion for creating content that engages both internal and external audiences
  • Experience in web analytics and data reporting to stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience of working within a team, participating in the generation of creative ideas
