Description

The opportunity:

To oversee and coordinate new business projects between customer, production, sales, supply chain and other areas of the business to successfully introduce new products within our Hamilton site.


How you will impact WestRock:


  • Responsible for full project management of new product development
  • Manage new enquiry pricing and quotations
  • Oversee artwork & technical reviews and prepare feedback to customer
  • Set up and maintain new items and customer orders
  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of customer account, forecast orders and relevant administration
  • Prepare sales forecasting figures
  • New business reporting weekly/monthly basis
  • Coordinate innovations, customer sampling, mock ups
  • Manage department's Key Performance Indicators to meet agreed targets
  • Identify and highlight opportunities to increase margins/profitability and efficiencies
  • Provide accurate and timely work instructions to production
  • Ensure all NPI procedures are followed and maintained for change management
  • Develop and maintain effective internal and external customer relationships
  • Attend customer briefings/meetings/reviews
  • Adhere to Company Safety, Hygiene, Environmental & Quality policies and procedures

What you need to succeed:


  • Minimum of 2 years new product coordinator/account executive experience
  • Experience of managing and developing relationships with multiple customers
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience of continuous improvement initiatives/projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Eye for detail and problemsolving skills
  • Good organisational skills and disciplined approach
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fastpaced & high volume manufacturing environment
  • Ability to react quickly and adapt to change on a daily basis
  • Proficient in Microsoft office packages
