Description

CK Group is recruiting for a Assistant Production Manager to join a global manufacturer of pharmaceuticals and vaccines spanning a range of indications in the animal health industry.

This is a permanent role located near Woking.
As an Assistant Production Manager, you will be responsible for all production related activities across three departments, ensuring that production takes place in a timely and cost effect manner, compliant with all applicable rules and regulations


Your responsibilities will include to:


  • Ensure that each department is working to optimum efficiency whilst being fully compliant with all rules and regulations
  • Continuously improve the processes related to the departments including equipment and employee training
  • Strengthen and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Train and coach staff within the departments
  • Manage and maintain cost centre budget
  • Ensure all biosafety and health and safety rules are adhered to at all times

Your Background:


  • Experience within either a biologics, pharmaceutical manufacturing or a FMCG environment
  • Deep understanding of HSE, biosafety and GMP regulations
  • Strong leadership skills/team management skills and experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills both verbally and written
