Description

We are looking for a committed, experienced and enthusiastic SLT, OT or Physiotherapist to develop and implement our new 0-19 Universal Therapy Pathway.

This innovative pathway comprises speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy and will be developed in phases, starting with 0-5 years.


The Haringey Children's Therapy team is friendly and supportive and there will opportunities to work alongside other Clinical Leads as part of the Children's Therapy Management Team.

The postholder will develop and implement a universal therapy pathway which will provide training, information and advice across Haringey.

They will work with a range of stakeholders to ensure the pathway is effective including parents/carers, education settings, community groups and existing universal services in addition to the professional leads for speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.

They will lead a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and assistants in the delivery of universal therapy services. This will include supervision, appraisal and management of absence.


They will work alongside commissioners and colleagues within the Local Authority to ensure the pathway complements the new Haringey Speech, Language and Communication Needs pathway which includes universal and targeted approaches.


The postholder will be responsible for devising and implementing outcome measures to measure and report on the effectiveness of the new pathway.
