Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and write CNC programs for various machining operations
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize part designs for manufacturing
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC programs and machines
- Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
- Experience with materials handling, including selecting appropriate tools and materials for each job
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprint
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Familiarity with Hurco controllers is a plus
Salary:
£32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
