Description

You will work as part of our busy production team, working on different tasks during the daily production process.

Daily tasks include:

Operating various machines (packing, cutting machine)
Making sure all customer specifications are achieved
Work collaboratively with the Team to achieve daily output targets
Providing effective and ongoing communication within the Team
Take appropriate action to ensure production tasks are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure SOP's and best practice are implemented during production
Use Product Information Sheet to ensure that all customers specification are achieved relating to product dimension, packaging, labelling and shelf life
Work collaboratively with the Team to improve Health & Safety procedures
Ensure all procedures for quality, hygiene, housekeeping are strictly followed and issues reported
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are strictly followed and hazards/near misses are reported
To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Line Controller/Supervisor
Report issues to Line Controller/Production Supervisor
Maintain a safe and clean work environment

You will need to be:

A team player with good interpersonal skills
Have basic English skills
Selfmotivated, able to work with mínimal supervision and follow instructions
Have good attendance and be punctual
Reliable, hardworking and can work within a team in a very busy, fastpaced environment
Willing to learn and progress in your role
Health & Safety aware

Working Hours:

Monday 7am 5pm, Tuesday
Thursday 7am 4pm, Friday 7am 3pm.

Remuneration:
- £11.00 per hour. Overtime rate of 150% paid after 40 hours. 20 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 25 days after 3 years service.
